Roger Van Pelt

Roger Van Pelt is the founder of Van Pelt Wealth Advisors and a financial advisor with nearly three decades of experience in the financial services industry. He combines his mind for numbers with his passion for helping to provide a high level of service and client care to all he serves. He specializes in coordinating clients’ many financial needs into cohesive strategies, including income planning, tax planning, investment management, and family wealth transfer planning.

Growing up with a mother who was a teacher, and now married to a teacher, Roger has long understood the power of education. Beyond assisting clients with their investing and financial strategies, he views himself as a teacher. By educating his clients on the markets and tax laws, how their strategies work, and what opportunities are available to them, he seeks to empower them to make informed decisions and take an active role in their financial life.

Roger started his career working with Jeffrey W. Evans and Associates, followed by Tyler Wealth Counselors, a nationally recognized financial planning firm. As the Director of Financial Planning, Roger led the financial planning team, with Harry Tyler serving as his mentor. After the firm was sold to a bank, Roger opted to start his own firm to provide him greater control and flexibility in helping his clients. He founded Van Pelt Wealth Advisors with the goal of putting his clients’ best interests at the forefront of all decisions.

Roger holds the Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 securities registrations and life and health insurance licenses. He received a degree in business from Grove City College. Outside of the office, he devotes much of his time to his wife, Lauren, and their three teenage sons. When he and Lauren aren’t attending their sons’ sporting events, they spend time with their family and friends at their vacation home on the Jersey Shore.
